These unique classes can assist students with developing self-confidence and self-awareness, providing the space to become the best versions of themselves.

CREATIVE ARTS AND DRAMA
AGES 6-12
In this program, creative play, designated group activities and direct artistic skills are embraced. This class aims to develop socialization, self expression and innovative thought. Various activities provide space for children to gain self confidence, while developing agency through freedom of expression, mindful activities and personal development.
MINDFULNESS AND YOGA
ALL AGES: ADULTS/YOUTH/CHILDREN/FAMILIES
Focusing on activities centered around self love and discovery, tools for breath work and mindfulness are provided to ground into the mind and body. This will be in tandem with stretching and moving the body in various poses, to release any tension and develop physical strength. A wonderful program to help develop self-regulation and relaxation.
ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY AND EDUCATION
AGES 6-12
Hands on activities focused on care and respect for the environment, with learning focused on sustainability and love and care for Mother Earth. Opportunities include outdoor learning, engagement with nature and knowledge of ecological literacy.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
All classes are taught by an experienced OCT with more than 10 years of service teaching Primary/Junior divisions along with additional qualifications in various subject areas. The Instructor is recently certified with 200hr YTT training, and is in the process of completing her 96hr Children’s Yoga Training. With a compassionate and calm approach to teaching and learning, mindfulness and movement are used as a tool to empower students to be healthy and joyful in their mind, body and heart.
